• All guests must check in at reception before proceeding to their site.
• Late arrivals outside of reception hours must notify us in advance — an after-hours arrival envelope will be provided at reception.
• Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may incur an additional fee. Please speak with reception.
• The property must not be left unattended for more than 24 hours during your booking.
• The lead guest named on the booking is responsible for the behaviour of all members of the party.

• Quiet hours are strictly observed between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM daily.
• All music, amplified sound, and social gatherings must cease — or move inside — by 10:00 PM.
• Please be mindful when arriving or departing during quiet hours; keep vehicle engines, voices and torch lights considerate of sleeping neighbours.
• Excessive noise at any hour that disturbs other guests is not permitted and may result in eviction without refund.

⚑  Generator use is not permitted between 8:00 PM and 8:00 AM. Generators must be positioned as far as practical from neighbouring sites and run for a maximum of 4 hours per day.

• All guests must stay within their allocated site boundaries. Do not encroach on neighbouring sites.
• Under NSW law, tents and caravans must be positioned a minimum of 2.5 metres apart.
• Additional structures, awnings, and accessories must fit within your site boundary and must not block pathways or emergency access routes.
• Any permanent or semi-permanent structures are strictly prohibited without prior written approval from management.
• Please keep your site tidy throughout your stay. Rubbish must be disposed of in the designated bins provided.
• Please leave your site in the same or better condition than you found it on departure. Additional cleaning fees may apply for sites left in an unreasonable state.
• Washing lines and clothes drying must be limited to your site area using the facilities provided.

• The speed limit throughout Sanctuary Moama is 10 km/h at all times — walking pace.
• One vehicle is included per site booking. Additional vehicles must be registered at reception and may incur a fee. Parking for additional vehicles is in the designated overflow area.
• All vehicles must park within allocated site boundaries or in designated parking areas. Parking on driveways, grass verges, or emergency access routes is strictly prohibited.
• Roads within the park are shared zones. Drivers must give way to pedestrians, cyclists and children at all times.
• Quad bikes, dirt bikes, and off-road vehicles are not permitted on park roads.
• No boat or trailer parking on-site without prior arrangement with reception.

⚑  Electric vehicle charging is not permitted via campsite power outlets. Please speak with reception for EV options.

• Well-behaved dogs are welcome at Sanctuary Moama (maximum 2 dogs per site). All other animals require prior approval from management.
• Pets must be kept on a lead at all times when outside your site.
• Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after their animals immediately. Waste bags are available at the park entrance.
• Pets must not be left unattended on-site at any time.
• Pets are not permitted in communal facilities including bathrooms, camp kitchen, or the swimming area.
• Pets are not permitted in glamping tents or park-supplied accommodation under any circumstances.
• Any damage caused by pets — including to neighbouring sites — will be charged to the lead guest.
• If a pet is deemed disruptive, aggressive, or a nuisance to other guests, management reserves the right to request its removal from the park.

⚑  Please be aware of local wildlife. Keep pets under control at night to protect native animals on and around the property.

• Open fires are only permitted in the designated fire pits provided at each site. No fires on bare ground.
• Fires must never be left unattended — not even for a moment.
• All fires must be fully extinguished with water before going to sleep or leaving your site.
• Fires are prohibited on days of Total Fire Ban or when a Solid Fuel Fire Ban is in force (this is common during NSW summer months — guests will be notified at check-in).
• Do not cut, break, or burn standing timber, branches, or park vegetation. Firewood may be purchased from reception or brought from outside the park.
• Fireworks, explosives, and incendiary devices of any kind are strictly prohibited.
• Candles and open-flame lanterns are not permitted inside glamping tents or covered structures.
• BBQs (gas or electric) are permitted at your site. Do not use solid-fuel (charcoal/heat-bead) BBQs during a Total Fire Ban.

⚑  In the event of a fire emergency, call 000 immediately, then notify park management. Fire extinguishers and hose points are located throughout the park — their locations will be shown on your site map.

Sanctuary Moama adjoins the Murray River. The river is a beautiful feature of this area — but it also demands respect.

• Children must be supervised by a responsible adult when near, on, or in the river at all times.
• Swimming in the river is at your own risk. Be aware of currents, submerged objects, and changing water conditions.
• Do not dive or jump into the river from trees, banks, or structures.
• Water activities (kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing) are permitted from the designated access point only.
• A current NSW recreational fishing licence is required for fishing in the Murray River. Visit www.fisheries.nsw.gov.au or call 1300 369 365.
• Boats and jet skis must be launched from approved boat ramps only. Vehicles must not be driven onto the riverbank or below the waterline.
• Alcohol consumption near or in the river is strongly discouraged.

⚑  River currents can be deceptively strong, particularly after rain. If in doubt, stay out — and always keep an eye on children.

• Shared facilities (bathrooms, camp kitchen, recreation areas) are for the use of registered guests only.
• Please leave all shared facilities clean and tidy after use.
• Report any damaged or faulty equipment, leaking taps, or facility issues to reception immediately.
• The camp kitchen is a shared space — please wash and put away all cookware and utensils after use.
• No glass is permitted in or around the pool/swim area.
• Electric vehicle charging points (where available) are shared assets — please do not monopolise them for extended periods.
• Bicycles, scooters, and skateboards should be ridden only in designated areas and not inside shared facilities.

• Day visitors are welcome between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM only.
• All visitors must check in at reception upon arrival.
• A day visitor fee may apply. Please enquire at reception.
• The lead guest is responsible for the conduct of all visitors to their site.
• Visitors do not have access to paid park facilities (showers, camp kitchen) unless a facility fee is paid at reception.
• Overnight visitors are not permitted unless booked and paid for as additional guests.

• Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside any park structure — this includes amenity blocks, the camp kitchen, reception, or glamping tents.
• Smoking is permitted in the open air on your own site only, and must not affect neighbouring guests.
• Cigarette butts must be properly extinguished and disposed of in the receptacles provided. Do not discard on the ground or in the river.

• All guests and visitors are expected to treat fellow guests, park staff, and the natural environment with respect.
• Offensive language, harassment, threatening behaviour, or any conduct that interferes with the peaceful enjoyment of other guests will not be tolerated.
• Intoxication that results in disruptive or unsafe behaviour will result in immediate eviction without refund.
• Theft or deliberate damage to park property, wildlife, or the natural environment is a serious offence and will be reported to police.
• Drones and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are not permitted in the park without prior written approval from management and must comply with CASA regulations.
• Organised events, group bookings, or commercial activities on-site require prior written approval from management.

⚑  Management reserves the right to remove any guest or visitor whose behaviour poses a risk to the safety or enjoyment of others. No refund will be issued in such circumstances.

We’re proud to operate in one of Australia’s most beautiful river corridors. Please help us protect it.

• Respect and do not disturb native wildlife. Observe animals from a distance and store food securely to avoid attracting animals to your site.
• Do not harm, disturb, feed or interfere with any native flora or fauna on or around the property.
• Keep noise levels low near the river and in vegetated areas, particularly at dawn and dusk when wildlife is most active.
• Grey water and sullage must be disposed of at the designated sullage points — never on the ground or in the river.
• Chemical use (pesticides, fertilisers, cleaning agents) on-site is not permitted.

• In any emergency, call 000 immediately.
• Download the Emergency+ app before your stay. It helps emergency services pinpoint your location using GPS.
• Notify park management of any emergency or incident as soon as it is safe to do so.
• In the event of a bushfire emergency, park management will direct evacuation. Follow management instructions promptly.
• Emergency assembly point, first aid kits, and fire extinguisher locations are marked on the site map provided at check-in.

⚑  Mobile reception can be limited in parts of the property. Save the park management contact number in your phone before moving away from the main facilities.

By checking in at Sanctuary Moama, guests acknowledge and agree to the following:

• Guests enter and use all facilities, areas, and the surrounding natural environment entirely at their own risk.
• In accordance with the Civil Liability Act 2002 (NSW), Sanctuary Moama (operated by 1735 Pty Ltd as trustee for the Bares Family Trust) accepts no liability for any loss, damage, injury, or death arising from a guest’s use of the park, its facilities, or the surrounding environment, except where caused by our negligence.
• Guests are responsible for the safety and supervision of all minors in their booking group at all times.
• Guests are responsible for securing their own personal property. Sanctuary Moama takes no responsibility for theft or loss of personal items.
• Guests are advised to hold current travel or activity insurance for their stay.
• Sanctuary Moama reserves the right to terminate a booking and require immediate vacation of the site for any breach of these Rules & Regulations. No refund will be provided in such circumstances.
